I love the Heat and salute our new 2012 Champions but the heat Organization BLEW the parade! How did they blow it? Here's how:
The double decker buses were stupid! When they went by, all we saw was a red 2 story blob covered with fat women! The parade was for the players not their mothers! The too-tall buses made it impossible to see the players up top because of the crowded 'posse' party up there. Next time, do it the old-fashioned way; use convertibles. You put each player in one sitting up on the trunk behind the back seat. His family can be in the other seats. The convertible puts the player at crowd level where the fans can see him.
Second, whose idiotic idea was it not to televise the inside events after the team arrived at the arena? The Heat already collected theie ticket money and filled the house! It would have cost them NOTHING to broadcast onto the Jumbotron. Instead you idiots left 20.000 fans outside in the heay to walk away. The outside fans were there for hours in the heat! They deserved better. If the Heat knew they were not going to televise the event to the street they should have had a separate presentation of the Heat Players to the outside crowd. The way the Heat ran the players immediately into the arena PAST the outside fans really sucked.
Third was the parade route. Where were the potable toilets? You idiots were only concerned with strett closures and traffic issues. What about when 20.000 people show up with kids and they have to pee in parking lots? Stupid & dim-witted!
You guys at the heat supposedly have a marketing department. Are you guys so smug and self-satisfied with yourselves that you totally presented a shabby third rate parade. Shame on you jerks!
